A new Tesla Powerpack system brings business almost completely off-grid in France [Updated]

While Tesla's massive Powerpack projects are capturing most of the attention, the battery pack system is also being deployed in smaller commercial projects. Now, what appears to be first reported Powerpack project in France has been installed.

 CN Industrie CEO ClĂ©ment Neyrial, a Tesla Model S and Model X owner, told Electrek that he reserved a Powerpack system as soon as possible to pair with a large 113 kW solar array on the rooftop of the facility.
Neyrial says that Tesla delivered a Powerpack v1.5 with a capacity of 100 kWh and a Tesla commercial inverter with a capacity of 50 kW. It’s a lower energy version of Tesla’s Powerpack 2.0, which can have a capacity up to 210 kWh in the same package.
He shared a few images of the installation process with Electrek:
Neyrial says that by combining this new energy storage system with his rooftop solar array, his company will be able to run 100% independently from the grid 8 months out of the year and the system will cover up to 80% of the company’s electricity needs for the other 4 months.)
